Arduino Sound Sensor Module Dfrobot
This is an Arduino microphone or sound sensor which is typically used in detecting the loudness in ambient, an Arduino or Raspberry Pi can collect its output signal and actuate accordingly. This sensor works best with our Audio analyzer module. DFRobot. Sep 23, 2024. Review. Mihailo.Milankovic Apr 10, 2025.
The sensor works best with DFRobot's Audio Analyzer module. DFRobot's IO expansion shield is the best match for connecting the sensor to your Arduino. As the sound sensor can work at 3.3V it is also compatible with Raspberry Pi, Intel Edison, Joule and Curie. Features Wide voltage range from 3.3 to 5V Standard assembling structure two 3mm

The Gravity Analog Sound Sensor For Arduino is a versatile module compatible with Arduino, designed for detecting ambient sound levels. It operates within a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V, making it suitable for various applications, including interactive projects like a quotclap and buzzquot feature to locate lost items.
This is an Arduino-compatible sound level meter also known as decibel meter or noise meter. It uses an instrument circuit and a low-noise microphone, which enable it to accurately measure the sound level of the surrounding environment. Do not place this module on the surface of the conductor or the semiconductor otherwise, it will short
The sensor is plug and play. I connect pin 1 on the sensor as output, pin 2 GND and pin 3 VCC. I tought that it's good enough, because on the site sais that it detects sound intensity. Anyhow, I always tought it was a gain problem . Thank's Richard, I'll try that.
