The Cayuga-Seneca Canalway Trail spans 5 miles from Waterloo to Seneca Lake State Park, following the historic Seneca County Railway route. Constructed in the late 1800s, this railway became part of the Lehigh Valley Railroad in 1903 and operated until the early 1970s.
The Cayuga-Seneca Canal Trail Association is comprised of citizen volunteers and representatives of various non-profit and government organizations who are working to promote the development of the trail in Seneca County.
