Chart With Data Table
Add the source data to your chart quickly and easily.
In Excel, in the Chart Tools group, there is a function to add the data table to the chart. 1. Click on the data chart you want to show its data table to show the Chart Tools group in the Ribbon. See screenshot 2. Click Layout gt Data Table, and select Show Data Table or Show Data Table with Legend Keys option as you need. See screenshot Now
Method 4 - Using the Chart Elements Feature to Format a Data Table in an Excel Chart. Steps Insert a Column chart by following the steps described above. You will see a Column chart.. To add a chart Data Table with legends keys. Click Chart Elements gtgt click the rightward arrow in Data Table. Select With Legend Keys. You will see the chart Data Table with Legend keys.
Hide a chart legend. Select a legend to hide. Press Delete. Show or hide a data table. Select a chart and then select the plus sign to the top right. To show a data table, point to Data Table and select the arrow next to it, and then select a display option. To hide the data table, uncheck the Data Table option.
Select the data ranging from C5 to C10. Go to the Insert tab on your Toolbar. Click on the Pie Chart button. Choose the first 3-D Pie option. To insert data labels, click on the Plus icon in the top-right corner of the chart and select the Data Labels option. Data labels will appear on your pie chart, as pictured below.
Example 4 - Adding New Rows to Chart Data. To add new rows to chart data, ensure that you have enabled the options to automatically add new rowscolumns to the table as illustrated in the Example 2. Enter a new product id in cell B9 and press Enter. A new row will automatically appear at the end of the table. Fill up the values in the row.
In the Chart Tools menu at the top of the screen, click on the quotLayoutquot tab. In the quotLabelsquot group, you will see an option for quotData Table.quot Click on this option to add a data table to your chart. Customize the data table Once you have added a data table to your chart, you can customize it to suit your needs.

Click on the arrow to the right of the Legend checkbox on the Chart Elements window and you will see the quotMore Optionsquot button. Click on this button and the Format Data Tables panel will appear on the right side of the worksheet.
