Internional R190 Shift Pattern

1960 International R-190 4X4 build. DT360 Eaton 6 speed NP271 F550 Frame. Thread starter DILLIGAF with ZF transmissions and Floor mounted shift. My buddy just gave me a 1960 R190. The same gentlemen that I got the 61 from. He forgot he had this in a friend's field.

i have 1959 western flyer bus, which i believe to be a r190 truck chassis. it was built in winnipeg, canada. shift pattern 1-2-4 R-3-5 drum shoe style park brake around the driveshaft single speed rear. stamp 1 96903-HA stamp 2 in oval 9- 190. thank you for reading . holyrider

1954 International Harvester R190 The R190 is the truck that made IH famous. Around 1950 IH produced first the L series followed by the R series which are essentially the same. Aussie cab made by Richards was used all the early 50's inters from a AL110 ute up to a L190 truck, early ones had a 2 peace windscreen, the change to a curved one peace windscreen was in the R models was about 1954 I think, last used for R190's in 1963. Re 1947 international kb6 transmission id help Where do Reverse and fifth gear lie on the pattern? IH used a couple different 5-speeds. Dad's R-160 1954 had Reverse all the way to the right and up. First was below that. Second was to the left and up, third below, fourth in the middle and up, fifth below.
