Layout Options Icon
This is driving me mad! I love the new layout options in Word 2013, but when a callout gets to a certain size the icon for it obscures the end of the arrow, and you can't move the arrow Don't suppose anyone knows either how to get rid of the icon, how to click and drag on the yellow end of the arrow, or how to stop the icon appearing in the first place? Thanks in advance.

All other wrapping options Square, Tight, Through, Top and Bottom, Behind Text, In Front of Text are anchored to a particular place in the document the anchor indicates the paragraph with which the object is associated. Select a picture, and then select the Layout Options icon to find out how your picture is inserted.
The Layout window should open with the quotPositionquot tab selected. Here you can customize to your heart's content. Let's take a look, starting with the Alignment options. These two options one for horizontal and one for vertical alignment control how the object is aligned in relation to parts of the document.
These settings appear in the figure, at the bottom of the Layout Options pop-up. Move with Text The Anchor icon appears next to a paragraph in the text. The object stays with that paragraph on the same page. Drag the anchor to associate the object with a different paragraph. Fix Position on Page The object can sit at any location on the page.
