Layout Options Icon

This is driving me mad! I love the new layout options in Word 2013, but when a callout gets to a certain size the icon for it obscures the end of the arrow, and you can't move the arrow Don't suppose anyone knows either how to get rid of the icon, how to click and drag on the yellow end of the arrow, or how to stop the icon appearing in the first place? All other wrapping options Square, Tight, Through, Top and Bottom, Behind Text, In Front of Text are anchored to a particular place in the document the anchor indicates the paragraph with which the object is associated. Select a picture, and then select the Layout Options icon to find out how your picture is inserted.
