This calendar helps you celebrate the liturgy each day! It works like a mini-ordoeach day includes the liturgical observance such as the First Sunday of Advent or the Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows, the citations of the readings of the day, the proper liturgical colors, and the Psalter for the Liturgy of the Hours. It also includes civic observances for North America.
About The Illustrated Liturgical Year Calendar There is a treasure trove of riches in the ancient Roman liturgy of the Church. The feasts and fasts, ember days, rogation days, and octaves make for a rising and falling as in the Gregorian Chant.

The liturgical year consists of a seasonal cycle and a sanctoral cycle, called the Proper of Time and the Proper of Saints, respectively. Both are organized and published in a liturgical calendar, which is also enriched by observances proper to local Churches, whether national, diocesan, parish-level, or religious community.
This website by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops USCCB offers general information about the liturgical year and specific information about special days throughout the liturgical calendar.
Each year the Secretariat of Divine Worship of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops publishes the Liturgical Calendar for the Dioceses of the United States of America. This calendar lists each day's celebration, rank, liturgical color, citations for the Lectionary for Mass, and Psalter cycle for the Liturgy of the Hours.
The calendar is based upon the General Roman Calendar, promulgated by Pope Saint Paul VI on February 14, 1969, subsequently amended by the Holy See, and the Proper Calendar for the Dioceses of the United States of America, approved by the USCCB and confirmed in 2010 by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.
