Pcie Speed Chart
The table is slightly misleading, because everything is listed as FULL DUPLEX speed. You should note this in your article. Ex you are listing PCIe 1.x for single lane x1 at 5GTsec. PCIe 1.x speed is actually 2.5 GTsec write 2.5 GTsec read, for 5GTsec combined total speed.

PCIe x1 vs x2 vsx4 vs x8 vs x16 Compatibility Chart. About PCI Express quotPCIe portsquot stands for Peripheral Component Interconnect Express, designed to replace the older bus standards PCI, PCI-X, and AGP. PCI Express Versions and their Speed Table. The PCI Express have different sizes as they are intended for different types of expansion
With the PCI Express 5.0 announcement, the industry gets another doubling of speed from 16.0GTs to 32GTs per lane providing a bandwidth for a x16 16 lanes at about 128GBs. The chart below provides a comparison for the different generations of PCIe rates and bandwidth.
However, the speed is the same as PCI Express 2.0. The increase in power from the slot breaks backward compatibility between PCI Express 2.1 cards and some older motherboards with 1.01.0a, but most motherboards with PCI Express 1.1 connectors are provided with a BIOS update by their manufacturers through utilities to support backward
The cars are traveling at the posted PCIe 3.0 speed limit of 15 miles per hour bandwidth. Several miles in the opposite direction, however, the state PCI-SIG has just opened the PCIe 4.0 Highway and doubled the speed limit. The cars on this highway are traveling faster at the newly posted PCIe 4.0 speed limit of 30 miles per hour.
PCIe Table. A table of PCIe bus speeds. If you can remember them off the top of your head, I applaud you. I cannot so I put them here, where I can find them easily.
Learn about the PCIe speedtransfer rates for different generations and lanes, and how they compare with USB, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, SATA, and more. See tables, diagrams, and explanations of terms and concepts.
PCIe 6.0 2022 Welcome to the Future. Finalized in 2022, PCIe 6.0 marks the most significant leap in the evolution of the PCI Express standard, redefining the limits of speed, efficiency, and reliability.By doubling the per-lane data rate from PCIe 5.0's 32 GTs to an eye-popping 64 GTs, PCIe 6.0 delivers a theoretical bandwidth of 8 GBs per lane.
Learn what PCIe is, how it works, and how to calculate its bandwidth and speed for different specifications from 1.0 to 6.0. See the table of PCIe interface speed rate and diagram of PCIe transmission channel number.
