Located outside the ancient walls of Rome, this basilica is dedicated to the apostle Saint Paul, martyred and buried on this site. Originally built in the 4th century, the basilica was later destroyed by a fire and subsequently rebuilt in the 19th century. Despite restoration, it still maintains its ancient charm and architectural grandeur.
