Ruger 77 50 Inline Muzzleloader

In order to develop and prove out our sealed breech 7750 209 conversion a few 7750's were purchased and converted by Fred and myself. Having a couple of centerfire Ruger 77 MKII's that I've hunted with for years, in many ways the 7750 didn't feel like a totally new rifle to me, even though it was a 'totally new' rifle to me.

Acquired a Ruger 7750 this spring and have done a ton of reading about this MZ rifle -came as near new and with the original percussion cap breach plug -acquired a NOS laminated stock and replaced the original birch stock -acquired the canadian conversion 209 conversion breach plug but never shot it -mounted a Weaver 4440 series 2x7- 32mill scope on it with original ruger rings -learned

Ruger made the M7750's for about 9 years. All were 50 caliber. They came set up for scopes with the Ruger rings. The breech plugs they came with were for a 11 percussion cap. Ruger sold as an option a breech plug for Musket Caps. I would prefer a set up that uses the DISC like Knight started with the 209 primers. Really shooting BP rifles is
