In this short tutorial I cover what you can use the Tiling and Offset node for in Unity's Shadergraph.vfx shadergraph unity tutorial materials tiling

Randomized Tiling for Unity ShaderGraph Works with 2019.4 LTS, 2020.1, 2020.2. Get rid of tiling artifacts in your shaders by randomizing the tiling. How it's done Split the UV plane into three groups of hexagons, here colored red, green and blue. Each hexagon chooses a unique randomized tiling. Here we display the random values of each hex tile.

Tiling materials is a common practice. You use a teture, that is tilable, and then adjust the tiling properties in your material. But, when you scale your Gam

I'm a total noob in unity and just today discovered the shader graph and also that materials tile universally and not object based. I just want to have a shader that looks something like this so that I can use it as a universal shader for my beginner project.. However, I've been looking around the internet and I can't find a straight answer to this when it feels like it should be fairly simple.

This is the graph I am currently using, just a world position node fed through some tiling to make the texture the right size and then fed directly into the UVs. I have also found this video, where they accomplish what I am looking for, I just need to figure out how to create this same effect using shader graph.

Next, we'll route the Tiling output into a Tiling and Offset node, specificially into its Tiling input. We'll then hook Offset in as well. We'll then link its Out to the Sample Texture 2D

I am using Unity 2020.1.1. Firstly create a shader. In project Create Shader 2D Renderer Sprite Lit Graph I think all graph types work. Add a Texture2D property, and make sure the reference is quot_MainTexquot. If it's not it won't work. Pass the property through a Sample Texture 2D node and into the Sprite Lit Master node.
