Use Case Diagram Rhapsody

In a UML or SysML UseCase diagram you can add Use Cases and Actors stick figures. But what if you want to use a class or block as actor?

A use case diagram shows typical interactions between the system being design ed and the external actors who might interact with it. The following figure shows the Dishwasher use case diagram that you are going to create in this exercise.

In addition, Rhapsody use case diagrams depict generalization relationships between use cases as defined in the UML see Creating generalizations for use cases. The product does not generate code for use-case diagrams. Use cases for example, wash dishes and service dishwasher represent expectation for a system from a user perspective.

Basic Operation Creates an initial package structure, an initial use case diagram, block definition diagrams and several default table and matrix views as dictated by the HarmonySE workflow - as shown in the diagram below for an example project named FillingStation. In addition, the use case diagram is added to the Favorites list.

Creating use case diagrams You can use Use case diagrams UCDs to model relationships between one or more users actors and a system or class classifier. You use them to specify the requirements for a system behavior.

This section describes importing requirements using the Rhapsody Gateway and using use case diagrams UCDs to show the main system functions and the entities that are outside the system actors.
