Advanced Topics in Engineering Education ENGR 6559 Special Topics in Cyber-Physical Systems 3 This course introduces students to core concepts and principles in the engineering of Cyber-Physical Systems CPS. It bridges the exploration of critical engineering concepts in CPS with an examination of ethics, policy and user design issues.

Rosalyn W. Berne, PhD is the Anne Shirley Carter Olsson Professor of Applied Ethics and Chair of the Department of Engineering and Society in the University of Virginia's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where she has been a faculty member since 1999 and directs the Online Ethics Center for Engineering and Science OEC.
