It's a decent spot, on the good side of West point but far enough out that you don't get too many zombies. You get a garage from the start which is nice. There is a second floor but it's pretty tiny. You should be able to expand it by building out of the glass windows and putting in floor over the main garage, though I've never done it.

Westpoint I like the three rich houses way out west by the river or the tire shop on the east end of town. Riverside has a nice gated community on the east end of town. Echo creek, OvO farm or meadshire estate. Or the animal research lab if you wanna raise a ton of livestock Unless it's changed in b42, you still need to build wooden floor first.

Imho one of the better base locations in West Point. I'm actually heading there too. Good location, it's at the edge of town, so fewer zombies, the river is just a 10min drive away, and the open area around makes it easy to spot zombies. The building itself isn't too bad either.

If you thought Rosewood had the best base location in Project Zomboid, wait until you see what Build 42 brought. If you travel to Ekron, which is all the way to the west, you'll encounter one of the best new towns in B42. However, the best building here is the Fire Station. The gated lake houses west of town are as good as ever, if not better, given the access to farmland and wilderness for the new systems and the same easy hike and easier drive into town as needed. Tall, fight-through fences fully surrounding the first of the 3 lake houses there, minus a gate you need to build.
